Monty Hamm is a New York City-based photographer and videographer with a passion for telling stories through his lens. His photography focuses on music, capturing everything from the energy of live shows to the creativity behind album and single art. Monty also specializes in portraiture, including headshots, photoshoots, and brand campaigns. Beyond these areas, he enjoys exploring street and travel photography and finding inspiration in everyday moments and new places.
On the videography side, Monty shoots and edits his videos to help brands, companies, and artists (mainly musicians) showcase their spaces, products, and work.
While Monty calls New York City home, he’s open to travel for the right project. Whether photographing a concert, going on tour, shooting BTS on sets, filming a campaign, or capturing the capricious street life of the world, Monty brings a thoughtful and creative approach to every project.
Monty grew up in London, England, before moving to Los Angeles at the age of 10. He graduated from Cornell University in the spring of 2024 and has since worked with clients like Telescreens, Doov, Indiesauce, GONZO STUDIOS, COOPER CLASSICS, aTheory, the short film ULTRASOUND, and many more.
